TARGET INVESTORS
As a result of the “hybrid” nature of the token, the target investor base sits somewhere between the pure crypto and pure traditional finance universes.
Traditional financial investors / lenders may find the blockchain aspect of the structure either confusing or outside of the scope of the mandate of many institutional investors. For any investors from the institutional space they would likely to be more modern, progressive organisations willing to take exposure to non-traditional structures – potentially those where the investment criteria has a large focus on the environmental, sustainability & corporate governance (“ESG”) aspects of a prospect.
In the crypto investor space, the asset-backing of the structure could either be deemed to not be “pure” crypto enough in nature or – as an inherently innovative marketplace – it may attract particular interest that a structure has been created which is distinctly different but still adhering to some of the core crypto principles.
